COMPRENDUM  SUPPLYING WATER MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS TO IMPROVE EUROPE'S CRISIS PREPAREDNESS.

Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB, Myndigheten för Samhällsskydd och Beredskap) has ordered seven (7) ResCamp Modules® (RCM) Camp Water Supply systems from Comprendum Oy, Finland. First batch of 4 systems has been delivered in January 2024.

The systems will be part of EU emergency accommodation facility standby warehouse under construction by MSB (RescEU Shelters SE). In addition to accommodation, this warehouse includes water supply and sanitary solutions. As part of the EU's rescue service mechanism, a joint preparedness and response readiness called rescEU is being built, which can be activated in the event of various types of major accidents. The EU Commission (DG ECHO) has tasked MSB with developing, establishing and managing this long-term emergency accommodation capacity. The purpose is to increase EU-level readiness and ability to quickly and flexibly help the population of affected countries with temporary protection in the event of a crisis or disaster. 25.2 million euros have been reserved for the project funded by the EU Commission until August 2026.
