Comprendum participated at UN Nordic Procurement seminar at UN City, Copenhagen. Our Chairman of the board, Erkki Pekonen acted as the Finnish panelist discussing private enterprises role and possibilities in supporting UN more efficently in the future.

Comprendum participated in the workshop discussing possibilities to boost business cooperation and development in the fields of mobile healthcare, digitalisation, off-grid energy solutions, data collection etc.

UNTIL FIN to be established in Otaniemi, Espoo 2018. At the SLUSH 2018 side event: "Role of technology innovation in advancing the progress towards the 2030 agenda" Finnish minister for Foreign Trade, Kai Mykkänen announced the establishment of UN Technology Innovation Laboratory in Espoo Otaniemi in January 2018. Comprendum participated in the event and has already offered to participate in the area of Peace & Security.

ResCamp Modules system was very well received at Aidex 2017. A lot of interest was shown by visitors and aid delivery professionals from organisations and companies and we have extended our networks even more. In the aftermath Comprendum is now involved in discussions on how to resolve the needs of some interested oragnisations.

We participated in the "Supporting Syrians in the Region" conference in Helsinki. Conference was hosted at the UN’s request by Finland. At the conference the UN’s humanitarian priorities for Syria in 2017 was presented and the Regional Refugee and Resilience Plan (3RP) for 2017–2018, which extends to Syria’s neighbouring countries was launched.
